Heartland Health Center was created with the goal of providing high quality, low-cost health care to low income individuals, those without insurance, and those with insurance.

Heartland Health Center offers central Nebraska full-time access to care for both sudden and long-term illnesses.

We offer a wide-array of medical services for the whole family, including:

Men’s Health: Men’s health is concerned with identifying, preventing, and treating conditions that are most common or specific to men.

Women’s Health: Women’s health is concerned with identifying, preventing, and treating conditions that are most common or specific to women.

Sports Physicals: The sports physical exam is known as a pre-participation physical examination (PPE). The exam helps determine whether it’s safe for you to participate in a particular sport. Most states actually require that kids and teens have a sports physical before they can start a new sport or begin a new competitive season. But even if a PPE isn’t required, providers still highly recommend getting one.

Health Education: Providing education to our patients to help maintain a healthy lifestyle. To help patients with the prevention of disease. Patients and providers work together to create effective treatment strategies. Providers monitor a patient’s condition and make recommendations as needed. Providers and staff make sure their patients understand medical processes and make sure questions are answered.

General Medical Care: Providing general health care for patients such as treating a common cold, flu, back ache, etc.

Pediatric Care: This can include but not limited to general medical care, kindergarten physicals, and yearly check-ups.

Outreach and Eligibility: We have staff available to assist you In choosing a Market Place Insurance plan that is right for you through the Affordable Care Act.  We also assist in signing up for Medicaid, CHIP and SNAP. We know that sometimes getting your prescriptions filled can be financially difficult, visit with our Outreach and Eligibility staff to go over affordable options that you may qualify for to help reduce prescription expenses.
