At Heartland Health Center, we care for the whole person — body and mind. Our behavioral health services are integrated with your medical care and available to established medical patients when your provider determines they’re needed to support your overall health and wellbeing.
All behavioral health care is provided by licensed professionals who work closely with our medical team to deliver compassionate, coordinated treatment.
Our Behavioral Health Services
Traditional Outpatient Therapy
Regularly scheduled psychotherapy sessions with a licensed behavioral health provider for patients diagnosed with a range of mental health conditions. Sessions are offered as part of an ongoing, short- or long-term episode of care within the clinic setting.
Collaborative Care (CoCare)
An integrated care approach for treating common mental health disorders. In addition to short-term, solution-focused therapy, the behavioral health provider works with the patient’s in-house medical provider and a psychiatric consultant to coordinate physical health and medication management.
School-Based Services
Short-term therapy for school-aged patients provided in the school setting. Sessions focus on helping students manage symptoms that impact academic performance, social relationships, and emotional wellbeing. (Not available at all schools.)
